* Throughout the area there are "dark spots." These a spots in which it is always dark and no flashlight can illuminate it. One such spot is under a pine tree tht is near the observation point.
* There have been many reports of shadow people and "dark figures." These "dark figures" typically appear in a group of four. They walk out of the woods and congregate to the center of the trail. One will then leave the group and walk towards the observers before disappearing.
* In addition to ghosts and shadow people, there have also been reports of "creatures" in the area.
~One report was of a small, mouse-like creature that traveled by leaping up to four-feet in the air, and is reportedly very fast.
~Another report was of a similar creature that traveled the same way, only this version was slightly bigger than a large house-cat.
~Most extraordinary of all was a photograph taken of a small humanoid creature under four-feet tall. The creature was brownish, and had three-clawed toes on each foot.
* There used to be a professor that would frequent the spot and would bring with him a three-foot, fluorescent light bulb. He would hold one end in his hand and would point the other at the ground. Often the bulb would flicker, but one night he pointed the end into one of the dark spots. The bulb light completely, and intense then burst. Likewise one man was had a flashlight in one of the dark spots, when the bulb flashed and went out. Upon inspection of the bulb it was found that the filament had disintegrated, though the bulb's glass was unmarked.
