Club standards
Wiring standard:

* Each module must have feeders on each mainline. One set of feeders is enough per mainline per module if there are no turnouts. Modules with one or more turnout per mainline are required to have additional feeders. Feeders must be placed on each side of each turnout.

Check with the club for the exact number of required feeders as well as locations.

* 16 gauge or larger wire must be used for club power buss.
Romex 14 gauge house wire is preferred.

* 24 gauge or larger wire must be used for track feeders.
Bell 18 gauge wire is preferred.

* All wire connections to club buss must be made inside plastic juction boxes.

* Metal covers must be used on junction boxes.

* Wire nuts or screw terminal strips must be used on all wire connections.

* Standard 3 prong grounded plugs and recievers or outlets are required for club power buss. One male and one female plug must be used at each end of each module.

* All wiring under module should be kept neat and clean, and taped or straped up, to keep from hanging down.

* Club power buss plugs must be orange or have orange paint on wire or plug at ends.

* Plugs must hang down at least 12" and not more than 18" from end of frame of module.

* Plug hang down location must not be less than 6" from front edge of module and not more than 18" from front edge of module.

* On the club buss, the following colors go to the following rails:

* Wire group one (male plug to right):

- Black: outside rail Main 3 (outside track)
- White: outside rail Main 2 (middle track)
- Green/Bare: outside rail Main 1 (inside track)

* Wire group two (male plug to left)

- Black: inside rail Main 3 (outside track)
- White: inside rail Main 2 (middle track)
- Green/Bare: inside rail Main 1 (inside track)
