Meeting Minutes

Hi Circle K-ers,

I just wanted to thank everybody for coming out to the Chilis Social yesterday. We had a really short meeting but i just wanted to go over a few things with you.

First of all we won second place in the window competition. Which is great!

Then we went over the OCM which was very sucessfull and we were able to gain 96 hours of service.

Also, I have posted a list of everybody's hours on our office window (its next to the student life office) so that you can keep track of your own hours if you want. I will update this at the end of every month.

Our next event is the Light the Night Walk, which is this Saturday. The walk is for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and it goes from the UPJ campus mall to the Walmart Plaza. This year is the walks 10th anniversary and is one of my favorite events on campus, not just because we have a lot of fun but it is very inspiring. Last year over 3000 local residents came out to walk and it raised around $85,000.

We are working on the food table from 4:30-8 so if you would like to volunteer for that please email me back and let me know as soon as possible.

There are also looking for a two people to work the information table (where you pass out info about the walk and the good it does) and we need 2 people to work the general store ( where you sell glow stick necklaces) These are also from 4:30-8 so if you interested in doing this please let me know.

Remember these is a great event and we need all the help we can get.
