All This Death
All this death
What happened to life?
Their lives
Before their last breath?

Why do the good ones have to leave so early?
Why are the bad ones left here causing us worry?

All this death
I’m losing my breath
Trying to keep up
Live my dreams
Before my life ends
They’re ending earlier and earlier it seems

Is life real?
How are we supposed to deal?
When this pain
Comes through us
It’s all we can feel

Trying to keep on
Reaching out to friends to lean on
Just want to carry on
But losing people left and right
Has us in fear
Simply full of fright

Not of death
But of failure
Failure to live life fully
All this death
It’s just one big bully

Pushing us to see
Opening our eyes
Causing us to care a little more
Looking at things differently than before

All this death
One more breath
I want to live
With all I have to give

Constant reminders
To go out and be true pathfinders
May they rest peacefully
Not regrettably
For their deaths have caused us pain and sorrow
In the big picture
We need to look through the rain
See tomorrow
We know we have more life to gain
A lot of life to live
In these lives we were given
Just gotta keep on
Keep on livin

Still sadly
With all the reasons
All the explanations
All the lessons
It’s too much death
I wish they all had one more breath

They’ve left it to us
May we live every breath gratefully
And live our lives
Yeah, live them fully
