Hey Buddy
Hey buddy
I hate seeing you down
Always acting like you don't have true friends around

I might be busy sometimes
But I commit no crimes
I always want to have your back in all your hard times

You went through a lot of stuff
Things I'll never get a handle on enough
Some were experiences all too rough
But you're a true man with the best key to all of life's handcuffs

A great key I say
Your heart
You have the biggest heart I have ever come across in all of my days

Don't think so negatively
Don't cast yourself into invisible corners
Don't waiver from anything but the positivities and possibilities

People mistreat people
Evil lurks upon evil
The strong survive
So do the nice
With your big heart
You'll always come out alive

I have a lot of scars
Similar to yours
I've cried like you
Seemingly never stopping
When it rains it pours
Scars are lessons
Lessons to learn from even if the catalysts were whores.

High morals
High priorities
Lofty goals
Ingenuity
Everything you are
People should strive to be
Yet I see you struggling asking yourself "Why do I have to be me?"

If you weren't you
I would probably care less about what you do
But you are you
And you're good at all that you do

Don't let anybody hold you down
Don't let anybody keep you in a frown
And by anybody I also mean you
You've got many good traits
A lot of great qualities that jealous people tend to hate and manipulate
Don't be so hard on yourself
Take a few minutes everyday
And simply congratulate
Yourself for being a good guy in this world of violent hate

Stay strong
Hold your ground
Good days ahead
Looking back
It won't seem like it took that long

You're a real man
Always willing to give a hand
So selfless
Yet full of so much pain that keeps you from true bliss
If anything please remember this

In a world full of fakes
With a lot of risks
And high stakes
When it comes to the bottomline
I'll always be ever so thankful to be able to claim you as a friend of mine.
