Countless dreams just running through people's heads
Life has a ton of should have saids
Some things are best unsaid

Nor am I thinking upon great negativity
More like relativity

Let me take a minute to roll back the hands of time
It's in those smiles
It's in those winks
Things unsaid are worth our while
And they should make us stop and think
A touch here
A graze there
My oh my did you do something with your hair?
Idle ramblings
Silly people losing in their gamblings
What exactly is left unsaid?
Just exactly who forgot to make their bed?
Make their beds in which they keep
The beds in which they sleep
Uttered words
Misguided swords
Windows to the worlds
Closed off with heavy boards
Yet if we opened our eyes
Instead of having to hear
Not everything has to be said
If we pay attention
We can learn a lot before we wind up dead

Aah a thought that would probably be left unsaid
Notice the little things
Even though you're probably lost in what you've just read
A raised eyebrow
A nervous twitch
Evil twins who decide to pull a nasty switch
A lot of things are left unsaid
Learn as best you can from what you can
Words are just a tool
Just like a crutch to a disabled man
But use everything you're given
Don't be a fool
Don't create your own prison
Look alive
Look around
Are things buzzing like a bee hive?
Or is there really noise without a sound?
What is left unsaid?
How many utterless words did you leave before you tucked yourself into bed?
Do they all matter?
Or are people wide awake
Watching every move
Every step you take
A smile
A glance
A dance
A chance

Not words
Things simply unsaid
But things you notice before you wind up dead

Assume things because its meaning is really unsaid
Emphasis is really on noticing all the different thoughts running through your head
Got you distracted by thoughts of morbidity
Rather than thoughts of positivity and reality
Some things are better left unsaid
If words are confusing you
Look for other means
Reality is usually what it seems
Or is it all just perceptions and mixed up dreams?
After sending you this way and that way
Don't get caught up in the words
Listen to what the gist has to say
Sometimes you listen to what is said
But you forget to pay attention to the things that are left unsaid
And some things are never even said
And even some things won't even come out until long after you're dead
A smile
A graze
A kiss
A hug
A happy moment that occupies your mind through those rainy days
Say what you will
Mean what you say
Words aren't always what you need
