| My feelings on the matter... I believe music to be one of most beautiful forms of human release and expression. I feel this beauty when I create music for myself or others. With music you can relate without words, with pure feeling. However, when there are words I value the words with a certain respect that I try to use decearment when relating in listening and writing. I found my passion for music through many great musicians. I like all different styles. I love passionate music, with strong feelings and melodies mixed with words of deep thoughts of human observation. My goals with music... I have been writing music for six years and I feel as though music has helped my life a great deal. I have come to realize patterns and progressions that not only help me to accel in my writing but also with my use of other instruments. Learning this craft alone helped my over all understanding of life in more ways than one. In the future I hope to evolve a great deal with music. I am currently involved with three musical projects... EARTHBORN is one of them. Earthborn is a mix of hard rock and metal fused with deep grooves and soft melodies. I am very pleased with the progression of this band. ALTER O.D. is another one of the musical projects I work with. Backed by the percussion of Patrick Mack(drummer of Earthborn) I take up my acoustic guitar and sing. We play a softer side of my feelings and words. Project #3 has no name yet! Members include Ted Tyler(guitarist of Earthborn), also Mike Pritchet(drummer) and Eric Haynes(guitarist) both formerly of All Is Suffering a thrash Metal band from baltimore. We are still looking for a bassist! This project is very heavy and very brutal. This music will make your eyes bleed and and and your stomach will hurt and stuff! Yeah! Word! -Benjamin/Upshot13 |
