I think... ( bet you knew i was gonna say that ).. this is a gag grouper, i know it's a grouper of some sort..

This is a new flounder pic.. lots easier to see... i have a couple more that i need to upload..  this was a nice sized fish..

Flounder are hard to spot.. they can change color and color patterns on their bodies to match their surroundings.. the easiest thing to do is look for a flounder shaped area of sand..   Plus, it'd help if all these little fish would get the heck out of the way.. i'll get a better picture..

This is a juvenile snowy grouper.. i think..

Oyster fish.. damn these things are ugly. i'm not sure what purpose the whiskers serve, but it makes some damned good cammo..

Another oysterfish.. ain't getting much prettier..

If you looked like an oysterfish, some people call 'em toadfish, you'd hide too..
