GOD's ANOINTING


This is a testamony of Gods anointing , as I have experienced it in my life. Experience does not overide the word of God, but it does further validate Gods word; Being a witness from personal experience. A personal experience of Gods anointing must not contradict Gods word, but be a testament to the reality of Gods presence.

We see in the Old Covenant, in Exodus 39:32-43 About the articles of the tabernacle. In verse 38, it says "the anointing oil" The anointing is a vitally important article that God told Moses to have in the tabernacle.In Exodus 40:9 it said to anoint everything in the tabernacle with oil. THIS signifies how very imoprtant that everyone in Christ must be anointed.

The anointing is different from Jesus, and different from the Holy Ghost. The anointing is a special presence of God upon.
We see in the New Covenant, Acts 10:38 "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power"

This anointing that comes was described in detail by prophecy in Hosea 6:2&3 It ministers to the former and the latter rain. The rain is the anointing that goes along with salvation; taking heed to the mighty "if" seen in Hosea 6:3, even as it is experssed in the new covenant.
In Deuteronomy 11:14, concerning the blessings; Describes the 1st rain and the latter rain; That's 2 different levels of salvation on earth.
Described is : the corn, which is Jesus, the word (bread) of God ; And, the wine, the blood of Jesus shed for our sins; And, the Oil, the anointing that goes with the 1st main stage of salvation on earth. Gods Blessing, when you 1st believe.
That is the former rain.
The latter rain has the corn, the promise of the Father, fortold about the Holy Ghost(because corn and word are synonymous; and the wine, the baptism infilling on and upon of the Holy Ghost; and the oil of this latter rain is the anoining that goes with being baptized in the Holy Ghost: The former being of necessity, but the latter being much better. As it is written the latter house was better then the former house.

As this is to be a personal testamony; first I shared some important scriptures to lay out understanding.
Now, the Time I fully and completly gave my life as a living sacrifice, to follow Jesus; It was about 20 years after the first time I knew the Lord from age 6. Upon total commitment to follow, I had received upon me, the anointing of a changed life, from a circumcized heart. I knew I was not the same. I knew I had been given a fresh new start. I had a whole different way of viewing things, and that I now Knew I could hear God in prayer. I was at last in fellowship with God.
But ! The night I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, I had experienced such an out of this world blessing, no words can give justice to what happened to me. The glory of God filled my room, like a soft thick white cloud; And it was as if Gods love was hugging me. I spoke in tongues of many languages of people in the world, and I praised God in a heavenly angelic language, which was such a heavy deep joy, tears of great joy streamed down my face, as I lay there singing praise to God in his heavenly language.
There was such a difference in the levels of Anointing ! Being saved by faith in God because of Jesus and a humbled heart was more joy than the world could afford; But, the anointing that goes along with Spirit baptism can in no wise be compared with the anointing of salvation. Truely, the latter house, or, latter rain, the baptism of the Holy Ghost is better than the former. But you cant get to stage 2 without first arriving at stage 1.


There were other times that the anointing came on for special service. The anointing can fall over you like a sheet falling down from heaven to cover you, and enable you to do the imposible. With this kind of anointing, you go from knowing somthing is imposible, to knowing it surly is posible.

You can experience this anointing, before having received the baptism of the Holy Ghost; But it can be extreemly unbearable to have the power and the glory fall all over you in anointing if you havnt yet been baptized in the Holy Ghost. When I first had it come on me, it was back years before I commited; I was so uncomfortable by the power that I backslid from God trying to hide from the feeling, and began using lots of alcohol trying to escape the power( that was pure ignorance) Another time, after being commited to Jesus, the power came upon me, as a window of heaven was opened, and I could see the endlessness of timelessness, beyond the size of space. It totally recked my mind. I felt that I would be insane the rest of my life; But I recalled what I did years before , and prayed for the comforter, and fell asleep. Before I fell asleep, I was prophecying to others in the house, telling them how God created things; With words that no human can bear to hear, unlawful words to people before the new earth. Those people held their hands over their ears insisting I stop saying those words. My whole body was trembling very hard.

Dont be afraid of God, just fear him; there is a big difference. My life is not the worse but the better for all I have experienced; But being dedicated to trust in his mercy and love, through Jesus, this is wonderful and needful.

Although the anointing can sound like a terible thing, from some standpoints; It is the fundamental thing. Each person who believes in Jesus is meant to have the anointing. You need to receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost, so your body is more sanctified by the Spirit, beyond being sanctified by the blood of Jesus. There is a huge difference in how the anointing effects you, if you have received the baptism of the Holy Ghost or not.
The anointing to a Spirit filled person is normally a most glorious thing. From the time I became Spirit filled, the anointing has not been an uncomfortable thing, but the power and glory of God.
