Communion More Defined

Jesus did not speak of the bread and cup as being his literal body and blood in the sense as if it were a miracle of being changed into the material manifest physical body and blood; For he spoke those words while yet in a physical body. He did speak things in faith, like saying it is finished and he still had not yet died or raised yet. But I shall attempt to better explain for you a Spiritual reality that is part of our covenant relationship with God

When Jesus said "Do this in remembrance of me", He did not mean make it meer symbolism or ritualistic tradition. He meant that we do it with reverence to his life, death, resurrection, and return; That our minds and hearts remain fresh to the faith of his reality.

So, the bread and cup are not meant to be a miracle of changed elements literally that we see, but a combination of things; A fearing and trusting heart, that we expect God to minister mercy and grace as well as his judgement of wrath for irreverence and unrepentant sin. That is why we must tarry, for our clear conscious with him.
We live in reverence of his love and of his discipline upon us as his children

Partaking in communion is a genuine ritual of covenant proclaiming our relationship with God our Father through the work of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. This communion is not to be taken lightly at all no matter how you want to believe about it. But with the respect as if it were the literal body and blood of Jesus, because of the results it brings into and upon us who believe; mercy for the merciful, wrath for the irreverent unrepentant; And because we must trust Jesus words who said it was his body and blood, even though we may not easily understand it; His own chosen disciples were very puzzled about those words. Dont assume you can easily comprehend such a spiritual reality.

When it was taught that the communion was a miracle of literal change into the literal physical body and blood of Jesus, it promoted the concept of blind faith like that in fables and unreasonable tales like when Aaron told Moses that he just put gold in the fire, and this calf mysteriously just came out, when in fact he himself formed that idol.
What actual miracle should we be looking for or expecting in communion?
We do not look for or expect to see an actual literal change in the communion elements as the miracle, or in the showing up of Jesus during the time of partaking, for he is always with us and in us. Our faith is in a Spiritual miracle, like faith is itself, and salvation. Those are unseen spiritual realities, miracles. Those unseen miracles manifest in our lives evident in our relationship with God towards others.

The miracle of communion is not that we look for him to show up, but that we both fear God and trust him while we take him at his word, for He so misteriously said it is his body and blood; He is ever present in you, and wherever two or more gather together in his name. That is a continual miracle.
We partake with reverence as if it were his literal body and blood, because it is because he said so, not because we need some special powers to make it happen. There is an unexplainable element to all communion is, that we can not easily relate with human language. This is one heavenly reality that is not easily likened unto earthly things.

Jesus was the part of God who showed up in person to Moses, who put his hand over Moses as he passed by proclaiming Gods name. When he proclaimed, he didnt say a name, like we think in the terms of a name, he described his own personality in character and authority; about his mercy, pardoning and forgiving sins, and of his patience, longsuffering; but also of his wrath in judgement. All that showed us the abundance of his goodness and our reason to fear. This same attitude is meant for us in communion.

If it were only a symbol we could easily loose reverence and fall under judgement The miracle is our faith, and that being in agreement with Jesus faith who spoke the words "this is my body" Because he said it, we partake in a balance of fear and faith.

"Do this in remembrance of me" in no way implies it is a meer recollection of only just a symbol of his body and blood; Because he did say it was. Remembrance is to keep the faith alive in our world, and personally in our own lives, because of the severity in both the blessings of the cup and the penalty for disobedience to the faith, and to the respect to the whole body of Christ, all the believers.

Because he did say it was his body, we do not want to assume anything about it, but remain open to God in humility, that is part of the miracle of communion; how we are caused to trust in something we can not easily understand or explain. But it strongly effects the way we learn to have love towards God, and the way we treat others; That is the core of our covenant that Christ paid for; Aside from giving us his Spirit.

We take communion as a covenant seal, even as he has sealed us by his Spirit. It is Very real; More real than this material temporal world. Take him at his word, He said it, We believe it, That settles it; Amen.
It is more than a miracle, it is a reality. Because our Lord spoke the words, we believe and speak. When we agree and speak according to his will and word, we know we are in fellowship and have the thing we say.
