There is a rampant false teaching about the seven spirits of God

You will see in this web page the truth about what the seven spirits of God are, and what they are not.
The seven spirits of God are Not attributes of Gods nature , nor are they parts of God himself.

The Seven Spirits of God are 7 special angels that serve God. This I shall show you according to the holy word of God.

The end of the message to Sardis in Revelations 3:5 , It refers to Gods angels. 2:1 The seven stars in his right hand refers to those angels at the command of Gods authority. The candelsticks are the churchs; the stars are the angels over those churchs of Rev 1:20 Rev 4:5 Seven lamps of fire burning before the throne which are the seven spirits of God. These burning lamps are "before" the throne, not "on" the throne

Hebrews 1:7 and Psalms 104:4 say Gods angels are flames of fire.

The Seven Spirits of God are Angels
Revelations 8:2 Seven angels that stood before God. That's the same as the seven burning lamps called the seven spirits of God.
Rev 5:6 Seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. God sees all things and does not need to send his own eyes to earth. Gods angels are like his eyes watching over the whole earth. These seven angels serve Jesus; That's what 5:6 is saying.

It is very important to see this truth and that the seven spirits of God are Not Gods attributes; Because God has far more attributes to his character and ability than seven, way far more. The doctrine of seven spirits being Gods attribute is a lie about God, limiting our unlimited God.



It is also commonly thought and agreed by many believers that a person can only be possessed by a total of seven demons. This error comes from the error of what the seven spirits of God is, along with the reality that Mary Magdalene had seven devils cast out of her.
Just look at Matthew 12:45 it says "Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there"
Right there Jesus said himself a man can have eight spirits inside him; and that is beside the spirit that a man is himself.
Look at Mark 5:9 where a possessed man had a spirit say "My name is legion for we are many:" That word "legion" is from the greek manuscripts word referring to a Roman regiment ,which was about 6,666 troops.
Seeing all those sixes in reference to demon possession really makes me think about the number of the man in Revelations; but besides all that, we can figure there had to be far more that seven devils in that man of Mark 5:, for when they came out they entered into about 2000 hogs.

Well, there is a whole lot to teach and minister about along these things, but this should help you see the importance of not believing the wrong things. If a minister does not believe a person can have more than seven devils, then there can be an unfinished work. Truth effects truth as far as our ability to serve in it is concerned. Love Truth.
