Thithing; Is it an order we are to follow in the New Covenant?
If you think you have a "love of the truth" , you best examine yourself, that you are clothed in humility, before reading this; Because you are about to read the truth that not many people are willing or able to inform you about today! To all ministers who out of pure ignorance didnt know better, I do not classify you as some examples are refered to in this message.
While many of the ministers who come here, and those who blindly follow everything that is taught them; I need to first prepare your attitude, because as John the baptist prepared people to get ready for Jesus, and as Paul often had to prepare the readers of his letters; So, I need to get you to get your self ready to be able to even begin to hear a very important truth.
Example: Similar to the severity of life when the founders of the constitution of the USA established this great nations government; Because they lived first hand, under a tyrannical force they knew had to be stopped. You and I can only see from books, but not to the extreem measure of those who lived in it who were inspired to make this nation free.
That is a similar thing that the Apostle Paul went through; He knew first hand, more than most any man, being a jew of jews and a pharisee of pharasees, the intense strength of zeal and commitment that the law held over people. Paul fought very hard trying to point out the liberty we are in under the new covenant. He even had to rebuke Peter and even his fellowservant Barnabas, for thier blindness about the old vs new covenants.
Zeal and committment with purpose that tends to make no compromise, can seem like a very commendable thing. But that is the making of a hard heart ,like Pharaoh, because it does not keep that underlying attitude Jesus our Lord had; Not my will but thine. If you dont believe that you can be like Pharaoh in even one point of your faith, then examine how those who get caught up in cults or denominational blindness are. Those who refuse to even consider what I have to say, they are saying they know everything perfectly, and that means not even God can correct or refine them, because they hardened their hearts as in the day of provocation.
Another example: I personally have seen devout followers of Catholic doctrine shut off hearing even the most powerful words of admonition, because they have become so deeply blinded by their devotion and commitment and practice of things even contrary to the holiest of commands.
Paul said in 1st Corinthians 8:2 "And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know."
Like he said in 1st Corinthians 13:9 "For now we know in part, and we prophesy in part."
Even as our Lord Jesus Christ said in John 9:41 "If ye were blind , ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth."
I appeal very strongly in these things to get you to humble yourself, even if it makes you feel vulnerable to one of your most trusted beliefs in Christ.
In order to preach and teach the truth according to grace, we need to be very well established in grace, or at least hold our preaching and teaching up against the free gift, to see if what we think, believe, and say, is contrary to the liberty we are called to in Christ.
We are told to standfast in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Paul worked very hard at revealing this reality, of where we are and are not, being in Christ. The yoke of bondage was not referring to some sin you were in, but in reference to the Old Covenant.
In Galatians 5:4 it says "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace." Please re-read Galatians, wanting God to show you what not to think about things we do, as being our cause for blessings to come on us.
There are things many ministries have not yet gotten established in yet, concerning the reason blessings come on us. But we need to see and understand the sure mercies of David, to better be sure that it is not what we do.
David didnt trust in the abundance of riches he had, or that he got them from being in the house of the Lord, he knew even a man not in the house of the Lord had riches, but that man trusted in his riches; What David did say, was that he trusted in the MERCY of God. David knew that it was only because of Gods mercy that he had blessings. Even as God makes it to rain on the just and the unjust.
The same grace that we are saved by, through faith, is the same grace that we are blessed by in all things; Not by merit of works.
It is now coming time to end ignorance to this fact, that we are not under the old covenant tithing. Please read the following messages I shall copy, below, from a group I minister to online about this topic:
(COPY)--------------------------------------
There is a lot of difference between the old and new covenants.
This post is to show where we are today, in the new covenant, and
where we are not, like the old covenant; when it comes to 'tithing'.
We each need to become good at rightly dividing the word.
When Jesus became our high priest, there was a changing of the law,
as written in Hebrews 7:12
Here is one thing changed "tithing".
You can use tithing as a standard of what you normally give, but not to think contrary to the Spirit in grace that you are blessed because of tithing. Still, it is good and commendable and needed for the ministry and
furtherance of the gospel, But !
The legalistic aspect of it is Gone; In the command and the curse.
The new covenant is based on the generosity of our cheerful heart,
and what we determine to give.
It says "not of necessity" "Not grudgingly" 2nd cor 9:7
This change is based upon a spiritual reality in the new covenant,
and THIS is a fundamental truth, that each must grasp ahold of, as it
is the impact of your salvation in many aspects:
Romans8:1
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ
Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me
free from the law of sin and death."
The old covenant contained blessings and cursings; like Paul said he
didnt come saying yea and nay, but all the promises in Him are yea
and amen;
The old covenant is 'The law of sin and death'
It contained curses, but, there is now No Condemnation for us; So!
Is it correct for a minister to put you under the words of the
prophet Malachi, and say you are 'robbing God' when God has said it
is now not of necessity, but as you purpose in your heart?
No! it is wrong. We are not to confound the blessings of God with the
curseings of the old covenant.
On the other hand !
Love is the fullfillment in the new covenant, So, if you have to give
and you dont, are you not walking in the flesh, and not in the
Spirit, because the Spirit should make you a cheerful giver, if you
have to give!
2nd COR 8:12 "For 1063 if there 1487 be first 4295 a willing mind
4288, [it is] accepted 2144 according to 2526 that 1437 a man 5100
hath 2192 , [and] not 3756 according to that 2526 he hath 2192 not
3756."
(The numbers are added to show the original greek definition )
8:13&14a "For I mean not that other men be eased and ye burdened: But an equality,"
8:15 "As it is written, he that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack."
Here, we see the Apostle Paul giving new testament instructions about
giving .So a great deal of it is not just to go to support a minister, but those who gathered little. The body as a whole doesnt have a very effective ministry of gathering supply for those who lack; and those who lacked were not drained of what little they had.
Nowhere in the new covenant does it tell us to actually follow "tithing". And I noticed many years ago; Whenever I hear a minister use the word "never" or "nowhere" concerning what is and is not in the bible, I payed very close attention, to examine, if what was said was true; This is a Very bold statement to make; I am sure, NOWHERE in the New Covenant, are we told to follow "tithing". tithing is refered to in Hebrews chapter 7 about Abraham, what he did , but it doesn't instruct us to do it; Moses picked up the serpent in Exodus 4:4 at Gods command; Does that mean, because it's written, that You and I are to pick up a snake? Lets not be foolish; Lets really try to understand what saith and what saith not the Lord unto the Church's.
In the gospels, Jesus mentioned tithing, but it was to people under the old covenant, not to us under the new ;John 23:23 "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharasees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anice and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone." And Luke 11:42 "But woe unto you Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone."
No where in the new covenant are we instructed to give a "tenth". Mark those words, and hear me through. And believe me, I extreemly reverence using the term "never", when it comes to scripture. Not even in the references of the book of Hebrews; read on.
Until Jesus hung on the cross, took on all sin of all mankind, and gave up the ghost, until then, he was still himself, under the old covenant; That's why he told people he healed to follow the law and show themselves to the preist. After Jesus died and arose, and sent down the Holy Spirit to be in us, Ever sense then, we have been in the new covenant. We do not follow old covenant works even if they were recorded in the new; Only, there is a form of teaching we stand to profit from in the law, how we can learn good from evil. Right from wrong, but not to say our righteousness or blessings are based on following old covenant law, or prior to old covenant law.
Or else, we are not in a new. But we are in a new, by the Spirit that is in us; That is what it is all about, being led and taught and empowered and made new by this Spirit of God in us; The Sabbath is In Us, the circumcision is in our heart in the Spirit, our diet is of faith and clean, our giving is out of the heart, which is the Spirit of Christ in us, not out of the oldness of a letter; Come on, rejoice in this great liberty, and see just how free we really are; It will make us genuine cheerful givers without confusion in mind about works.
Also in the gospel of Luke, Jesus refered to the term of tithing in giving a parable in Luke 18:12; Jesus speaking of a Pharisee who didnt practice sins, and who gave tithes of all he possessed; But Jesus said that Pharisee was not justified; While a publican who was a sinner, in humility trusted in Gods Mercy; This sinner was justified ! Here these words of Jesus do not commend tithing, but magnify the mercy of God; For all our blessings come of Gods mercy; even the ability to partake in the spiritual principles of giving and receiving, these only work because of mercy. It is the goodness of God that enables this principle to function, not our works. When we have done His will, we are unprofitable, for we have only done what is required of us; And we can never do enough of what is required of us to merit favor. Micah 6:8" He hath shown thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"
It does instruct to give.
In 1st Corinthians 16:2 Paul taught to lay up in store, but it is not saying that is not nesessarily the storehouse, for the greek for "store", means:to amass reserve, or treasure up ,not like the old covenant storehouse; But sure, if it can be done, it's a perfectly good place to store, in the church. Paul wanted them to have whatever they were going to give ready beforehand, so they wouldnt have to go gathering in a rush when he got there. Because Paul would send someone to take their offerings to the needy. Check it out, Nowhere in the new covenant are we told to Tithe a tenth! New testament giving is completly changed.
Teaching works of tithing will kill the anointing and confuse grace quicker than most sin. It doesnt matter if you are referring to positive things or negative; we are not under the laws of tithing any more than Sabbath days or circumcision, or in what we eat.
We are not to try to use angles, like mentioning that tithing was before the law; we are not before the law either, we are under Christ! The liberality is of a willing mind; Otherwise it is not of grace. We can teach principles, but even then, not under works unto blessings, that's not grace. If even the blessings are of works then the promise of blessing is not of grace; But we know it is the free gift. There is a big difference between the principle Spiritual laws of sowing and reaping, and saying we only get blessed because we are faithful to give at least a tenth; while most of our problems are either being too far in debt, or not budgeting what we get. It has nothing to do with tithing.
Preachers who try to avoid this great change, will say it is not
refering to tithing,in the new covenant, but giving beyond; Giving beyond is true, but not required, why must they keep going back to things before the new covenant, instead of examining better the new itself, and going to God about it, rather than what they were brought up under; even your own life proves you do not have so much you can not receive it! So the words in Malachi was a specific deal to a people who had left God, not a rule for new covenant believers.
A careful close look will show that
many of those kind of preachers are avoiding this great grace, in
hopes of keeping you in financal bondage to them; Not all; some are that way ignorantly, because of tradition; but will not be able to see their point of error because of the fear of compromise; which there is no compromise here, but a deepened revelation of grace and of blessings.
.
Those ministers should simply repent of their unbelief, for we know,
those who preach the gospel are to live of the gospel; We would
naturally, in our changed new life want to give, it's the Spirit in us to love, but not in us to care that much for ministers who will not hear correction!
Anyhow: The point here is; Paul was telling us, we are supposed to
give according to what we have, not according to what we dont have.
Paul wants the church to live in the goodness of Gods grace, not in a
bondage of religious rules.
Some ministers will try to get you to give your very last penny, and refer
to the woman who gave just a few pennies from all she had; and refer
to the woman who made the cakes for the prophet when she expected to
die of starvation.
It doesn't matter if even a pastor gives everything his family owns, to try to be an example; If God's not leading you, you may as well be following some cult.
In Romans 8:14 it says "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." It also doesn't matter how many people they try to get to testify; If it's not truth, it's a lie! It's a shame that such a deceptive lie has spread throughout most of christendom!
Some ministers have gone so far into their deception, they say you are not "giving" until you have payed tithes. But again this concept of tithing in the New Covenant is contrary to the standard Paul taught. Willing mind, not of necessity. These are the TRUE things in the new covenant, not tithing.
I knew this very early on, as the same voice that called me also told me tithing was a contradiction to his gospel. This voice I know is God , and I know that every word used to say tithing is a new covenant thing is a lie and the grace of God is true!
I do not say that of my own boldness, because if anyone could show me otherwise, I would obey, but I know the gifts and calling I have and must do this work of establishing this truth throughout the body, wherever ears are willing to hear. I know also of the multiple and ongoing serious miracles that confirm my calling and ministry.
True, there are very very commendable attitudes expressed in the
bible, that we are blessed to obey, when God so leads; But, Those
expressions are not the core basis central theme reality of the
Revelation of Grace.
In Luke 6:38 Jesus said "Give, and it shall be given unto you; "
That verse has been misquoted extreemly to get people to give to a
church.
To get the picture of what Jesus was actually saying, go back to
6:20, and read all the way through verse 49; then notice verse 36;
Jesus explained in verse 36 that we are to observe and obey in these
things , because this is the way our heavenly Father is towards us.
Seriously!, Please go to your bible, and read verses 6:20 -49 of Luke.
This verse "Lk 6:38", is NOT refering to 'money' ,It Is refering to a
manner in which we ought to live towards God and each other.
Thank You , each of you, for coming and reading what I have to share.
Doing THIS is very important for me and you.
For me, because God revealed to me years ago, to give out this
information; For you, because you get to see what it is God wants me
to say.
Colossians 2:14
" Blotting out the handwriting of the ordinances that was against
us,which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it
to his cross; "
This verse is to big of a revelation to me from God, about where we
are in Christ, that I was inspired to write a song about it.
Maybe soon I will be able to offer free copies of the over 100 songs
I have been inspired to write.
Just LOOK at this verse from the bible!
It is just shouting the joy of liberty wherewith Christ has made us
free !
Every single word in the old covenant that could be used to judge you
or make you feel inadequate or unable or condemned ; IT's GONE !!!!
Yes, the word is eternal, ,, but the parts that could be used against
us are as if they dont exsist 'for us' Because Jesus Is the WORD, and
the Word hung on the cross, and the negative curses and condemnation
of the old, It stayed dead in the ground. When Jesus rose, Only
positive blessings , yea and amen stuff is there for us now ! Now dont forget, not only were the curses against, but even the blessings that came of works of the law; They are against us too; for we can miss it in blessings if we depend on works of the law for them; I hope you can hear; This Is great good news!
THIS IS REALLY BIG GREAT NEWS !!!
This is a very powerful rule to measure the right dividing of the
word by.
This very exciting revelation to me, from Gods word and, Spirit (who
empowers and personalizes his word), I joyfully give to you, and this
kind of truth is so powerful good, If I had the money, I would spend
till I'm spent, to get this kind of stuff out.
Matthew 12:7 " But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have
mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless."
BAM !!!
WOW What a great God; what a wonderful Son Jesus !
He really cuts to the bone when it comes to exposing the heart of the
matter.
Jesus wanted us to see and know and understand that the written law
and orders are under grace, that GRACE puts us above the law.
Do you hear what I'm saying ? about what Jesus said ?
Read for yourself , MT 12:1-8 .
This is so great and full of the ability for the Holy Spirit to
establish you in the depth of what we really have in Grace.
Mercy is and always has been a very big thing God wanted to relate
with us; for us to know his mercy, to comprehend the sure mercies of
David (how in the light of Davids sins, God blessed him)
that the letter of the law didnt condemn the priests who had to break
it on the sabbath; And how Jesus himself said, He was Lord of the
sabbath ! That very statement is fuel for us to gain revelation from
God about the topics I post here.
Look at Romans 10:4
"For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that
believeth."
(End of Copies I had in other places)---------------
We know, according to 2 Timothy 3:16 that all srcipture is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, for instruction in righteousness; But that the scripture must be used skillfully in accordance with the gospel of Christ Jesus, and not contrary. For we can try to use the scriptures to say everyone must get circumcised, and observe the sabbath, and tithe, and then put all the law of Moses and the prophets on you.
But that is not what we find the Saints teaching us in the bible is it?
In order to contend for the faith once delivered to the saints, we need to seek to be very well established and rooted and grounded and firm in the word of grace, even to the extent of a revelation of grace.
No one minister has the whole picture, or even sees everything about anything, as it says, if a man thinks he knows anything , he knows nothing yet as he ought; And; for now we see in part. But, If I have been called to minister this kind of grace, which I have, I can be sure it is for the good of all the body of Christ, and that, to ignor or reject it; Well, not to think I would want to force anyone to hear me; But Because I am sure of my gifts and calling, I forwarn all who read and hear me, that God has been trying to awaken you to a very important truth.

There is a whole lot of teaching concerning the principles of sowing and reaping, and of Gods will to give unto the needy, and to care for the ministry, but none of this has to do with tithing, unless, that's the only level in your heart that you ever expect to have.
Actually, a liberal giver will give way far more than a tenth, when they have to give, and will love doing so, because of the Spirit that is in us.
It is proper to lay up in store for the giving, and to bring in as it has been prospered to us, to give, but this is done by the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus shed abroad in our hearts, and not by the oldness of a letter about command.
We find now, that we having authority, We rebuke the devil; We can also expect to have given to us on a basis of our liberality, but just because we can expect to be blessed, we should never give as if Gods angels are running computers figuring out how much we shall get, If we give to get, we shall not get, just like asking that we may consume it upon our lusts; God is not a giant Casino. We should give because the Spirit in us Loves to give, and because the compassion of God in us, compells us to care for the right needs to be met.
We see, the words of James refer to the works of Love, not the works of obedience to law. There is no contradiction.
OK, I'll change gears now, and minister where the rubber meets the road:
When it says that it rains on the just and the unjust; It is saying, both bad and good things happen to both saved and unsaved people.
If we are of God, it is no glory if we suffer for wrongs we have done. If we suffer for righteousness sake, then it is glory to us, The Spirit of Glory and of God resteth upon us. but if we have the wrong attitude, even when we suffer for righteousness sake, we miss the blessing in this world, at that time.
All who live Godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution; Why then should you think that some strange thing has come upon you?
Do you suppose Paul was reaping for sins when he endured shipwreck, being left for dead, being cold, hungry, imprisioned, beaten? NO !!
We are to have the eyes that see reward. We are to count it all Joy.
None of our problems are solved by obedience of old testament laws.
The problem isnt in what we are going through either; It is our understanding, and our attitude.
Godliness with contentment is great gain. It shouldnt matter what we go through on earth; none of that should ever get us to murmer and complian about things that all the world goes through; And partly, we have brought things upon ourselves, thinking we are to exalt ourselves in our time, and not in Gods time, we try to own and obtain more than we can sustain, and then think Gods not keeping his word. When we have made bad decisions and wrong judgements, lets not be amazed and confused to see the trouble we have gotten ourselves into , and then go further into trouble by thinking if we put ourselves back under the law which Chist nailed to the cross, that we shall get out.
We , doing that, just go deeper and further into doubts, confusion and darkness; When we are children of light.
It does us no good to say we are the head and not the tail, when we cause our own problems and then complain about them.
Paul said he can be abased and abound, he learned he can be blessed and go through also very hard times; He can do all things through Christ which strengthens him.
Are you going to have the attitude Paul gave example of, or are you going to look for things to try to manipulate the scriptures, to make you "think" you are not going through hard times when you do?
Please ! Everyone who reads this, We need to Go on and be People of God, be bold and be strong, do not be discouraged; God is with you, and is In you; Be of good cheer, rejoice in the salvation , we shall reap in due season if we faint not. The peace of God and of Christ be on everyone who has ears to hear.
Jesus was amazed at unbelief. I find myself amazed at how many christians in leadership positions find it very difficult to receive correction or instruction. What? Are we not to submit ourselves to each other? Can people be so fearless before God, that they think that I must be some "self appointed" Apostle or Prophet.
If each person , no matter what their position, would harken to these words "Harden not your heart as in the day of provocation" Then the humility can enter your heart to receive of more grace from God, more vision, more ability to comprehend, revelation of what God has made known to me for the body.
Because I make no effort, because I only want His will, in creating a title of distinction; It is easy for people to reject what God wants you to hear. But we will each give account for not only what we say and do, but also for what we Reject of God.
I truely hope and pray people get a bigger dose of the Spirit of the fear of the Lord.
I was talking with a pastor of an apostolic church, who believes differently then trinity. I told him how a glorious angel appeared before me to strengthen and guide me as to what to study, and how I found, in studying the words, in the original language, from the verses the unity doctrine holds to; That it does not mean what they claim, but even more about trinity.
In anger, he said; no scripture is given by private interpretation; trying to imply that what I was saying was not able to happen according to that verse. His version of that verese is actually what that verse is talking about; Private interpretation, in the greek , means , one mans own idea.
That pastors words to me were his own idea, while my words to him were Gods words, not mine. I didnt make up the definitions of the words in greek and hebrew. And even more :If God reveals so much to me according to his word, people ought to fear God, and not their denomination, and hear what saith the Spirit to the churchs!
If God spoke to me and called me Christ's Apostle, and someone say's I'm "self appointed" what does that make them?
If God revealed to me I were a Prophet of light, signifying the revelation of truth, shinning light in dark places, and people reject the revelations , what kind of relationship with God do they have?
If God gave me a gift of teaching and people fight against what I am led by the Holy Spirit to study and learn and teach, and reveal, Are they genuinely submitting themselves to God and the Lordship of Jesus?
I know my gifts and calling and what office God called me to. I dont have a personal need to promote myself. But if I need to magnify my office and gifts and calling, it is not for my glory, but for your edification and that to the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry.
BOTTOM LINE
If the blessings depend on faithful tithing; Then the promise of faith by grace is made void. And that means teaching tithing in order to be blessed is frustrating the truth of the gospel.
You get blessed becaues it's Gods Mercy; Are you Giving Mercy? The principles of sowing and reaping also only work when mixed with faith and love. Can you have faith mixed when you disannul it by trusting in works? Faith works by Love; The reason you give, is it so that you receive? You should give because it is from genuine christian love in your heart, otherwise, it is the same condition as when someone asks amiss, that they might consume it upon their lusts.
God loves a cheerful giver. Give because you love to give, and because you care for those you give to, And because you are also so glad it is no more of works, but of faith through grace that all the blessings and promises come on us.
We are truely Free Indeed if we only follow Jesus. If we desire to go back under law, to trust in it, then we are accountable to do all the law, and Christ is become of no effect to us, if we depend on works of obeying the law at any point. It is through the Spirit in us that we need to see and obey the truth. Is Everything in the new covenant to be grace except for tithing? That's not seeing well enough. We need to see better than that.
The time Jesus spoke of tithing it was to a Jew under the law, who was not practicing the law truely; And Jesus himself was still under the law at that time; But he fulfilled the law for us, so that now, we are under a principle that depends on our own choice to determine how much if any we want to give. We realize, that if we give nothing, because we have not even enough to care for our own,; That is accepted, knowing that if we do not take care of our own, we are worse than an infidel. When we have to give, if we walk in the light and of truth, we Love to give: We love to give if we have or not, it's still our desire in Him. When we have to give and we do not give, can we say we obey Love, if we dont care for others in need And for those who minister the Gospel?
Think on these things, and see just what the Spirit of truth confirms in Your heart.
Colossians 3:14&15 "And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful."
Hebrews 3:13-4:1 "But exort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end;
While it is said,
Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
But with whom was he greived forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it."
2nd Corinthians 11:3 "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."
Those who oppose this teaching are under the darkness of tradition by their own will; Rather than devine inspiration on this subject.
Gods word was given by devine inspiration, and can only be correctly received by devine inspiration. Much the same as even the faith we are saved by, if the believing from the heart is not that inspriation from Gods Spirit, then it's only human motion and not Spirit.
All true doctrine must be received by inspiration of Gods Spirit, or it's just meer fleshy belief without power; Even if the definition were correct. Correctness doesn't validate Gods word to us, only the Spirit.
Now I say this; Most commonly ,only those with an Apostolic or Prophetic office will be able to have revealed through them, the truths that have been buried by tradition for long periods of time. Those who speak in the Spirit often, also can have their spirit edified enough to more easily comprehend the very deep things of God, ingnored by many.
Those who are not of these offices, authenticly called of God, or who do not spend years in Spirit prayer; These should humble themselves in the fear of God, to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churchs through me.
Those who insist on remaining ignorant, and will reject staying humble before God about this, will be held accountable to God for each soul who turned from the faith simply because you couldn't see this contradiction. Others will not turn from the faith, but will suffer confusion in their faith or neglect coming to a church because they do not understand the feeling of contradiction they feel. All those you never see leave, blindly follow, still suffering subconscious confusion; Hoping to have that place of cheerful giving that cant be completly found by legalistic works dressed up with meer words of grace.
God is not limited to our ability to preceive. Even during the old covenant, Jesus said, "all things are clean unto you"; And he was three days in raising from the dead, but said to a man hanging next to him, "Today shalt thou be with me in paradise".
So many go on confidently thinking they see clearly on this, contrary to what I present, While they themselves even know that Nowhere in the new covenant are we told to give a tenth; which is even contrary to 2 Corinthians 9:7 "Every man according as he purposed in his heart" (not a legalistic tenth) And it says "not grudgingly, or of necessity:" It's not of necessity means it's not a law or legalistic must do or else thing.
I have declared to you the truth; before you go teaching against it; Wait, do not fight against God now, for somthing you will be ashamed latter. Do not make haste to jump out in front of a congragation and boast of contradiction to all you just read here. Wait on the Lord. I was over 22 years in coming to this degree of understanding. If you have taught contrary; Once you see the light of the truth here; humbly address your congragation of the more accurate way; Pointing out how this true doctrine aligns with faith and grace, and promotes a cheerful heart.
I know; Some of this sounds a bit harsh, but it takes a bit of shaking to rattle the minds loose from the hidden bondage the church has been held in.
Further Admonition
There is an attitude I have seen over my years in Christ, which is not of the Spirit of the Lord. We see an example of it in 2nd Peter 2:18 "they speak great swelling words" and in verse 19 " they promise them liberty"; We need to be aware of the character and fruit of who we submit ourselves to listen in the Lord; I dont want to see any of you like this "of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage".
When you hear a minister making great promises, notice what it appeals to: If the man ministering puffs up your desire about great rich's; You had best be very aware, for God does not promise us great rich's in this world as a standard to always expect to live in; But to expect to be persecuted if you see and obey holiness, godliness, with contentment: We are not above Christ; just look at what Paul went through, he learned he could have times of more than enough and times of being near death in destitute.
And be aware of ministers who try to promise you blessings from God and his presence based on old covenant conditions. God Is In You ! You need to get a fresh anointed vision and experience of that reality, so ministers can not puff you up to expect things that are not even much better! Which they are now for us. God said "I am the Lord, I change not" and Jesus Christ the same yesterday today and forever" What we need to see, is, God himself never changes, but, his covenant which effects relations between man and God, that most definently changed. Dont settle for old covenant relations when you are suposed to be standing in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made you free!
We are told of in Titus 1:11 "who subvert whole houses, teaching things they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake" We find examples of things like this, to let us judge our own selves, not that we would be as if we didnt have God, but that we should see these examples ,and fear God, and watch the manner we minister in.
These words I minister; If you take heed, they will bring more peace in your life, reguardless of earthly circumstances; it is the fruit of righteousness which brings more peace to you.
Just as Paul had to openly rebuke Peter when he by example was telling the Gentiles they had to live after the manner of the Jews, which Peter himself was no longer even doing; Paul said Gal 2:14 "If thou being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?"
Even so, I must rebuke those who minister tithing and tenths. That is not the principle and Spirit of Life in Christ to teach such things.
All that we have and can have is blessed in him because of mercy and grace. And because Jesus became poor that we might be rich. Our blessing is based on the provision of faith , grace, mercy, and love; In the finished work of a risen Lord; Not of tithing. Forget the errors you so wrongly were brought up in, to build so much trust in, contrary to grace.
We could line up hundreds of fornicators who never got disease or children from their sin; Does all that testamony make it true or right? Of coarse not! That is the same foolishness we see in trying to prove our errs by testamonies.
The light has been shined on an age old darkness perpetrated by Catholic doctrine from the Council of Trent around 1545, and carried ignorantly all these years.
2nd Peter 2:3"And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you" When you pay attention to this message, you know what I say is the opposit of the attitude and spirit of things like 2nd Peter 2:3. And you can judge for yourself, and see, I do not love to have the preeminence; In no manner am I lording over anybody: On the contrary, the messages I have been called to bring into light, they free you even more to the Faith and Grace God ordained you to be blessed in. That is the work of an Apostle.
