After a pleasant couple of days in Montevideo, we headed north to Argentina with a stopover at a very nice spa just north of Paysandu. (You can click on the thumbnails to view the actual images which are larger and of higher resolution.) |

Archeologists believe that these trees record an ancient trade route where natives discarded seeds after eating the fruits that they carried to sustain themselves during the long journey. |
