RECORD OF THE YEAR

At the end of a given year, the top selling singles of that year will become eligible to win the Record of the Year prize. Each act included in the nominations for ROTY has one single included, that single being their highest selling of the year, and each single will be placed in five groups to allow voters to decide which singles should go to the ROTY finals. The top 10 singles go for voting once again, and then the winner is announced in a ceremony.

This page gives details on all the Record of the Year ceremonies. All the singles nominated are listed in alphabetical order. Those that placed within the top ten are in italics.
