high speed train between new york and washington DC...its coming!
		Amtrak, the US rail carrier is in the process of developing an high speed train between Boston, and Washington DC via New york city. Using the French technology of TGV's (very fast trains in servicesince 1981, and the fastest record in the world so far), the first american flyer train will be delivered in late 1998, for entering in service in the last quarter of 1999. The boston New york run will be cut to three hours from the 4h30, while the New york Washington run will be cut to 2h45 from the 3h. That represent a new competition start again the airlines companies for the new century concerning domestic transportation. Inside, the intercar passageways are spacious and as warm and quiet as the passenger cabin, operated sliding doors. The first class car seats 44 passengers with audio and video entertainment, food service and modern communication advice (fax, e-mail service, internet...), in other class, for business travelers, a business service center will work for you, at 150mph/280km/h...tg
