smart cereals, smart car, smart cards, why is it that everything is becoming smart? Is it marketing that's becoming smarter? the message is simple: if you buy smart you are smart. Yet one wonders if the mass consumer is as smart as the products they are consuming. Smart products are enhanced products, to help the consumer think less. They are intelligent. The smart car for example, contains an on board computer to help the driver drive, navigating the consumer in and out of complex situations. Cereals aren't intelligent but contain all the necessary ingredients to make you feel better, to help you think. Smart cards enable the consumer to carry a credit card like file of their vital data: medical record, bank account information, even DNA details. So while you eat your smart cereal in your smart house or while you review your smart card in your smart car, ponder this question: are you really smarter?. tgv
