SHOWS

Chicago One Love  will tour a series of live performances around Chicago and suburbs, through nightclub venues, college campuses, and all-age circuits.  Performances will feature various artists, from signed to unsigned, with CDs and without.  Performances will also feature guest deejays, and Chicago celebrity hosts.

CONTESTS

Emcee Battle: In two events emcees face off in 4 elimination rounds of lyrical competition,  The winner will be crowned 360 Emcee for the year 2002. 

DJ Battle: The Chicago One Love 360° DJ Battle is for top DJ honors. Djs will compete for the title Chicago 360° DJ.

Mail-in Contests  The general public will also have the opportunity to compete for prizes in a series of mail-in contests.   Winners will be selected randomly, and can win t-shirts, cds, concert tickets, and host of other prizes. 

TOWN HALL MEETING

The One Love town hall meeting will focus on hip-hop in Chicago.  Discussions will explore hip-hop as a culture, and as a medium for art and music.  It will focus on local contributions to the national scene, as well as take a closer look at Chicago’s future, as possibly, the nation’s next hub for urban music.

BENEFIT CONCERT

The end of the campaign will be marked by a benefit concert to aid some of Chicago’s humanitarian organizations.  The all age event will feature performances, breakers, djs, and lots of promotional giveaways. 

CHICAGO ONE LOVE CD

To commemorate the One Love Tour, a compilation cd will be released at the end of the campaign featuring some of the hottest performers from the tour.  The cd will be made available for sale through retail outlets, and through our online store.
