CULT DIVISION

http://www.cult-division.com/
FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
Very appealing graphics and fonts
used. They arouse interest.
When you start exploring the
web site you notice that everything is the same and there are many pages
under construction.
When the page first pops up the
product logo and design of the page give out a very mysterious feel.
NAVIGATION:
Very easy to follow, there is
a site map on the left of the page at all times.
There is two links which seem
completely useless. One is to the Cult’s web site in Danish (which is useless
for North American market. The other link is to Netscape web page.
MATERIAL UP TO DATE:
Though there is no time specific
information on the web site, it seems that this web site is not up to date.
Some pages are dated back to 1997 (unless that is a typo, which is just
as bad).
PROBLEMS OBSERVED:
The page that should offer information
on guarana – one of the product’s ingredients, is written all in German.
Again no use for the North American market, whom this web site is intended
for.
Too many pages are under construction,
the web site does not appear professional.
There is no information on where
you can purchase the product.
USEFUL APPLICATIONS:
Detailed product information
– ingredients and effects (if you speak German).
E-mail address if you have any
concerns and questions.
MARKETING STRATEGIES:
Interest arousing design of the
web page.
A page specifically targeted
to potential distributors, explaining the products they make and their
ingredients.
When updated, the game and the
products related merchandise will be great marketing tools.
Contact e-mail.
E-COMMERCE CONSIDERAIONS:
You cannot purchase the product
over the Internet, so there is no need for security for online transactions.
