FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
First impression is quite good,
it looks professionally done. However, the background used is one of the
Microsoft Word backgrounds, so whoever uses that program will recognize
it. The site loses its value.
Use of colors is effective, they
use the same colors as on the packaging of the product.
There are not enough many graphics,
only their company’s logo and the can.
NAVIGATION:
Too many links are under construction
– The news link, the competition link. That doesn’t look professional.
Easy to use, but there are too
many buttons to press, before you get what you are looking for.
MATERIAL UP TO DATE:
Material is not up to date. The
events link lists the events for the spring/summer of 1999, which is almost
a year old. That also shows you how long the other links have been under
construction.
PROBLEMS OBSERVED:
When you inquire about where
the product is available, it only tells you gas stations, variety stores,
etc. There is no indication of the countries where The Flying Horse is
available.
There is an order form for The
Flying Horse Merchandise. It does not tell you how the payment should be
made and when you order. They write thank you and that’s it. Nothing about
how and when you will get the product, how the payment should be made etc.
It is quite confusing.
USEFUL APPLICATIONS:
Detailed information about the
product, and its ingredients.
Tells you about The Flying Horse
parties – when and where they are held (it would be useful if it were up
to date).
Contact information
Frequently asked questions section
– very useful
MARKETING STRATEGIES:
Gives you new uses for the product,
for example recipes for mixing it with alcohol.
A variety of The Flying Horse
merchandise is available to purchase over the net – free advertising.
You can use this web site to
announce parties to your friends (they can look it up on this web page).
E-COMMERCE CONSIDERAIONS:
When ordering The Flying Horse
merchandise, there is no information regarding the payment of the merchandise.
But they do not ask for your credit card number, so I guess I can say it
is safe.
