FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
Did not catch my attention, and
right away I noticed some spelling mistakes.
The whole web site follows the
same theme, same colors and fonts, however there are hardly any graphics.
The first page only displays the company logo, and a few pages down there
are some designs. They don’t even have a picture of the product.
Again it looks like somebody’s
home page and not a business web site.
NAVIGATION:
It is easy to use. There is a
site map at the top of he page at all times.
There is a link to American Fitness
Professionals and Associates, which gives the potential customer an impression
that they support this drink and that it is healthy.
There is a link to Dave Scott,
6 Time Ironman Champion who provides a testimonial for this product.
MATERIAL UP TO DATE:
There is no information on this
web site that is time specific, and there is no indication on when it was
last updated. There are however many studies done on this product and none
is dated after 1998, which gives you the impression that that was the last
time this web site was updated.
PROBLEMS OBSERVED:
Does not look professional.
The web site is very dry and
monotonous. The potential customer might lose interest and choose a competitor’s
site.
USEFUL APPLICATIONS:
It lists all the stores, their
addresses and telephone numbers, where the product is available.
E-mail address if you have any
concerns and questions.
Detailed information about the
product’s ingredients and how it works.
MARKETING STRATEGIES:
Testimonials (especially by famous
athletes) make potential customers see the many attributes of the product.
Gives you different uses for
the product, what it does and how it works.
E-COMMERCE CONSIDERAIONS:
You cannot purchase the product
over the Internet, so there is no need for security for online transactions.
