I picture this leprachaun in a Viking hat, you know, clonking cute boys over the head & dragging them away to Valhalla... My mom's mom was Dorothy Madsen. My mom's dad is Harry Hogue, former Missouri politician. I have a half brother from one of her previous marraiges, Kevin, & had a sister named Valerie. My mom has a brother, also a Harry who's a Jehovah's Witness? or something, & I had an aunt named Vicki who was my mom's sister as well.

so any geneologists who wanna help sort this out, email too....

pics on this page: my maternal grandma, Dottie, my maternal grandpa, Harry Hogue, and my aunt Vicki. all pics scanned by my dad's new wife. who I don't like all too much but hey. at least she scanned the piccies. yay. ;)

these weren't scanned, I used my friend's webcam to try to copy pictures. lousy, but you get the idea... update: 9/2/09 a email from mom: Here are some names of relatives. Grandpa Harry Hogue's side (born 1920):
Elsie Genevieve Banker, mother (grandmother who raised me), born 1900 in St. Joseph, Mo. Married Harry Hogue, then Howard Little of Indiana. She was in vaudeville and later had a dancing/singing school in Kansas City. Her stage name was Markeeta, spelled various ways. She died in 1956 in K.C..
Daisy Roundy, grandmother /(died the day Kevin was born, 9/6/60, in K.C.)
Fred Banker, grandfather (lived in St. Joseph, Mo., died around 1945-6)
Harry Hogue, father (no info on him, except he had 2 brothers, both newspaper men, and 1 sister. He lived in California.)
Lots of relatives in St. Joe. Annadell is a cousin. I met her several times, but I don't know if she married into the family or was a Banker. She had a mess of sons. One owned a gas station.
Grandma Dottie's side (born 1921):
George Matson, father
Nell Matson, mother
No info on either except he was Swedish. He worked for the railroad in the office. One day the office was robbed, but he wasn't there. He was in a hotel with the secretary. The robbery made the front page and so did his affair. Fame at last!
