Tina + me with General Sherman
The day we went to visit the sequoias wasn't how we planned, but it was awesome nonetheless! First of all, it was raining! Second of all, I wasn't feeling so good!

We got some food together and headed up there. The road was nice and windy, which is great when you're feeling queezy! Daniel, a  friend from China, was driving those curves as best he could, but the trees weren't the only things looking a little green at points!

Soon, the rain turned into snow flakes, and the temperature dropped to about 1 degree C (34 degrees F)! My other China friend, Tina, was only wearing shorts! I did wonder how she would go once we got out!

The tree was huge, and there was snow everywhere! We slipped and slided our way to the tree, did the touristy thing, and slipped and slided our way back to the car. On the way back we stopped at certain points to snap various things. Then, we headed back to Tina's, and we all crashed out in front of the TV - exhausted! It was great!
