With Don Abbott's announcement of  his need to take time off due to health concerns comes an officer change. The two vice-presidents step up to try to fill his shoes. Henry Pape (henrypape@msn.com) is now the President with Bob Farrow the Vice-president. Since the reunion arrangements had not been completely finalized, there will be some alteration of plans. The final negotiations are almost complete. The hotel has changed. The EXCALIBUR is a four star hotel casino in Las Vegas and it appears that our reunion can be the best ever if held there.  The big advantage is the hotel location.  There may be a slight adjustment in dates to achieve the most reasonable prices for rooms. The planners expect to produce final details within the next two weeks. The Lake Mead tour will be offered and a show at the hotel may be as well. He was stationed on Towers 2,3 & 4 from 1958 to 1960 and was in the service from March 1957 to December 1961. His military assignments included Lackland, Scott, N.Turo and Texas Towers. His civilian job was in insurance and investments.
