It is hoped that more Get -Togethers can be arranged that are separate from official Reunions. When an event of interest is being held in your area, it would be nice to suggest others join you for a weekend. Many of us live within driving distance of each other and opportunities to meet each other should be plentiful. For example I wonder how many of you were in Washington for the World War II Memorial dedication? Some of us are veterans of that conflict and others may just have taken the opportunity to go to see the celebration. Let folks know when an event of interest arises. ...-...-...-...-...-...-...-...-... From an Akron Attendee: We had a great time in Akron, Ohio, Bob and Martha Walker were a gracious host and hostess, we had excellent accommodations, Bob had our days planned out but then we made last minute adjustments to suit everyone's needs. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a "must" see experience, we spent about three hours there, enjoyed the films, music and costumes that were on display. All types of music were well represented. |
