Some on this mailing list may be confused about the TWO upcoming reunions of groups with similar names.

This mailing is from the TEXAS TOWER ASSOCIATION which is a tax-exempt organization, registered in Colorado, incorporated in 1999, begun by a group of Charter Members from the families of men lost in the Tower accidents and the men who served on all three towers, as well as being endorsed and funded in part by others who were interested in preserving the history of the cold war.  The ASSOCIATION is open to ALL interested people and will have a reunion in Las Vegas Nevada the end of September.

Full membership in the other group is for VETERANS only, although we understand there is an Associate level.  This group was formed in 2000-2001 and is not incorporated.  It has an upcoming reunion in Pigeon Forge Tennessee the end of the month as well.

Understandably the email list overlaps both groups.  Some belong to both; others have chosen to join one or the other.  Some officially belong to neither.

A request to confirm Banquet reservations was sent by the President of the Texas Tower ASSOCIATION, Heny Pape.

The Texas Tower ASSOCIATION would like to have input from all interested parties as to a choice of meeting place for next year.  If your area has not been favored, and if you would like to see a reunion there, please write henrypape@msn.com to tell Henry of your choice.

We have had several on Cape Cod, one in Colorado Springs, one in Idaho, one in Hampton Virginia, and now in Las Vegas.  Many people have not yet been able to attend a reunion and location may be a factor.
Speak up.
