FEBRUARY 2005

It is that time again -- the month when the tax information is in hand and everyone starts both dreading and looking forward to spring. February is also the holiday month with presidential birthdays (we used to have Lincoln's on the 12th and Washington's on the 22nd) Valentine's Day and this year Mardi Gras.

AND we announce the plans for The TEXAS TOWER ASSOCIATION's annual meeting and reunion.

This year we will gather in Pennsylvania just outside Philadelphia in King of Prussia which is the gateway to Valley Forge. Fortunately September is a beautiful time of year for the area so we won't recreate the conditions the Continental Army found when wintering there.

The hotel and area were chosen with an eye to tour possibilities, entertainment options and safety. The
second largest Mall in the country is nearby and there are many restaurant choices. There are walking areas
and there is free parking.

Tours are being planned now and expect offerings to Atlantic City, the battleship New Jersey, Philadelphia and Amish Country. Options for trips by interested smaller groups to New York City and Washington DC are being explored.

This year we have turned to a professional planner (http://nationalplanners.com/) to handle the contracts
and arrangements. They will publicize the Reunion as well and handle many of the details and payment. Some
of the reservation detail is shown below.
