What is D.C.F?

Direct Consular Filing. You can file for a greencard at a US consulate in the country where you are from. But you have to get married first. In most countries the American spouse has to be a resident of that country, but not in The Netherlands.

What is K1?

It is known as a fiancee visa. Each one applies for it in his/her own country and if approved you can travel to the US but you have to get married within 90 days after arrival.

What is P.O.E?

Point Of Entry. Airport or land or sea border where you go through immigration and customs.

What is A.O.S?

Adjustment Of Status. This is what you do if you apply for a greencard within the US at an I.N.S. office.

So what is this I.N.S?

Well, nothing really. They are now called the Bureau for Immigration and Citizenship Services, part of Homeland Security. Scary eh?

Greencard?

A greencard is a card that shows you are a resident of the US. It is not green but creamy colored with a funky mirror-like backside.

Dutch, Holland, Netherlands, how many countries are you from?

Duh.

Peter and Jennifer, what do you look like?

A photo page has been added (photos). Jennifer always tells me I am good looking, but my hair took a step back since she started cutting it.
