	The 2003 Alumni Game was a wonderful success!!! Although the youngsters beat on us pretty bad, there were still good times enjoyed by all. Some of the raffle prizes won by the fans included a professional Islanders Jersey autographed by Brad Isbister; a pair of tickets to watch the Islanders take on the Devils on February 27th, along with many other great prizes. The Stony Brook Hockey Team and Alumni would like to extend special heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Chris Garofalo. It is through his vision, dedication, and diligence and pursuit of perfection that the Stony Brook Hockey Team has experienced its extraordinary growth over the last ten years. Chris excelled as a player and student, helping the team rise to become a respectable, competitive program. Chris has contributed, and continues to do so, on an even larger scale by taking the reins as General Manager, and bringing the program to attain national recognition. The hard work and commitment that Chris showed on the ice has been matched, and surpassed, only by his determination and visualization to make the Stony Brook Hockey Team a success. In recognition of this, February 23rd, 2003 became a red-letter date in Stony Brook Hockey history as #10 was retired in honor of Chris Garofalo. Thanks for everything, Chris!
