Dan came to Stony Brook as a freshman in the fall of 1997, after graduating from Tottenville High School in Staten Island. Dan played for Tottenville, and was their captain in his senior year. Dan filled a void in the roster left by one of the Seawolves graduating defensemen, thereby strengthening the defensive corp of the team. Dan was a part of the team that first represented Stony Brook at the American Collegiate Hockey Association National Tournament and also won the Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference Championship in the 1999-2000 season. Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science the following season, when the Seawolves made another trip back to Indiana for another try at the National Tournament. Dan began pursuing a law degree at theTouro College Law Center and, after performing at the top of his class, has transfered to the Georgetown University Law Center to complete his degree. |
