Steve Mikolanda Back to Bios Home	Years Played: 1998-01 Position: Center Number: 76 E-Mail: mik7616@aol.com	Steve transferred to Stony Brook in the fall of 1998 from SUNY Farmingdale. Steve's presence on the team was immediately felt, as he brought with him many years of experience. Steve played junior hockey with Suffolk PAL, and was playing at SUNY Farmingdale before coming to Stony Brook. Steve's speed, tenacity and tireless effort are what made him such an instrumental component to the Seawolves recent success. Steve was on the Seawolves team that made its debut on the national scene in the 1999-2000 season, the same team that won the Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference Championship that year. Steve was also on the team the following season, which made another run at the National Tournament. Steve now works as a police officer for the New York City Police Department. He also plays for the NYPD Hockey Team.
