Chris played for the Patriots for four seasons, from 1983-1987. Chris played as a Patriot as that was Stony Brook's former team name, which was replaced in the early 90's by the Seawolves. Chris was quite an outstanding player for the Patriots. His career totals were 49 goals, 64 assists for a total of 113 points, at a time when the hockey team would play only 18 regular season games per season. Chris was co-captain of the team for his final two seasons, '85-'86 and '86-'87. Chris was also voted MVP of the team in 1986-87. After graduation, Chris went into foreign exchange and ultimately worked for Cantor Fitzgerald on the 104th floor of Tower One of the World Trade Center. Tragically, Chris was victimized by the horrendous acts that occurred on September 11th, 2001. Stony Brook's 2002 Alumni Game was played in his honor, and served as a charity event to benefit his wife and two children.
