Passage: cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:
For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:
In this passage the colonists are  talking about how the King of Great Britain had the ability to make and put taxes on any goods he felt need to be taxed. The king did not have to take  permission from anyone nor did he have to ask the colonists if what he was doing was correct or incorrect. This is very similar to how Saddam Hussein ruled Iraq  before he was caught by US Soldiers. History says that when Hussein decided&something, not even his own mother could change his mind.? Hussein neverhad to ask for anyone permission to make an agreement with a country nor did he  ever have to ask about taxing his people. He was a free man, meaning he had no boundaries. If he told Iraq to stop exporting oil to the United States (which he did do), there was no way an Iraqi could export oil because if he did, he was  probably asking for his own death. So this passage, which was written by Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence, can easily be related to SaddamHussein and the power he had over Iraq.
Passage:  hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
In this passage, the colonists are basically telling the King of Great Britain that they deserve the right of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They also stated that all men are created equal. You can easily see this right which waswritten on a piece of paper, now in action in the United States of America. US  citizens, or permanent residents of the US, have these and many other rights which not even George Bush (the current president hopefully not for long though)could take away. The line ;quot;all men are created equal" is easily shown in the United States. Owning a slave in the States is illegal and if you are caught with one, sever charges will be held against you. This is because all men  are created equal. They can be; White, Black, Mexican, Chinese, or even Indians,  all men are created equal meaning that no one man has an extra right than someone else. The US Constitution that gave us these right along with many more.  No one, including the President himself, can tell us how to live our lives and&how not to. We have complete liberty and we have the right of being happy. So this passage, which was written by Thomas Jefferson on the Declaration of Independence, can easily be related to the life-style in the current United  States of America.
Saddam Hussein

Passage: He  has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices,  and the amount and payment of their salaries.
This passage, written by the colonists, states that the King of Great Britain basically black mailed the judges. He told them to listen to his Will completely and If not he would lower their amount and payment of their salaries. This event is seen many times in the country called India. Even though it is sad to say but many of the judges who make decision for innocent lives, are always blackmailed with their salaries. It is not of course the King who is doing this because there are no King's in India but it is the wealthy class who completely bribe  the head of the judicial branch. The sold out judicial brand then directly tells the judges how to make his ruling and whether the one who is being questioned is innocent or guilty. This is exactly what happened before 1776 in the colonies.So the colonists would get infuriated because they never had a chance to receive a fair trial because the judge already knew what his ruling would be even before the trial began. So this passage, which was written by Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence, can easily berelated to how the Judicial Branch works in India.
