Setlist: Yesterday, Sympathy, Ones and Zeros, For Whom the Bell Tolls (Metallica), Big Balls (AC/DC), Sober (Tool), Mudshovel (Staind). Comments: Our first show under Faded and it's at quite possibly the biggest venue for local bands in Toledo. I had given the demo to the Verso Group agency the day before the show. Then at around 5:30 friday I get a call from Brent's dad saying that he just got a call from Jon and Verso Group. Apparently their opening band had canceled on them and they wanted us to play that night. Once we got a hold of everyone Brent, Dan, and I agreed to do it. But with such short notice we were really taking a huge risk since we hadn't had time to practice due to Brent's waterpolo practice. But we got there, we were the youngest band there, and we held our own. We played first, and then we were followed by Mad Mordigan, and then Tranquil. On a side note, Mad Mordigan was the band that opened for Ted Nugent at the Stranahan at the concert we saw on Tuesday. Rock & Roll, Baby! Click here to see pictures from the show. |
