Some Pelote Basque Disciplines
Welcome to the Official Web Site of the United States Federation of Pelote Basque.
The mission of the USFP is to promote the Pelote Basque disciplines in the United States of America. 

Pelote Basque disciplines can be played different courts, each having its own rules and dimensions.  The courts in which these games can be played are: Fronton (3-walled court), Trinquete (4-walled court), and Open Plaza (Front wall only).

Disciplines played in a Fronton:
Cesta Punta (Jai-Alai).  56 meter court
Remonte.  56 meter court
Main-Nue (Mano, or Hand Ball).  36 meter court
Pala Corta (Short Paddle).  36 meter court
Paleta Cuero (Leather-ball paddle).  36 meter court
Joko Garbi.  36 meter court
Paleta Goma (Argentine Paddle).  30 meter court
Frontenis.  30 meter court
Frontenis Cubano (Cuban Frontenis).  20 meter court
