Flag Burning Amendment Debate
	Most people in the United States see the American flag as a revered icon of American history.  The flag brings thoughts of the lexington and Concord, storming the beaches at Normandy, or even the terrorist attacks of 9/11.  However, some people believe that burning the flag sends a powerful message of dissent to poltical leaders--which it certainly does.  After the Supreme Court protected flag burning as free expression, the discussion in recent years has turned to a flag burning amendment--banning burning the flag.
