Okies. Bua woke in front of Groa in Haggerfel. Bua freeze dere and sees only dwarfs around. Not many dwarfs dere be friendly. Da big problem be dat Bua habe a huge, hurting lump on da back of 'er head and remember nothing before. Bua be a shivering, friendless, and very very lost little kobold.
Bua want to find home and family. But Bua habe no coin or eben decent weapons and armor. One dwarf be friendly, a seamstress named Helen. Helen tells Bua what ta do, and Bua hunt bear cubs and mud snakes and hobgoblins 'til a hobgoblin kill Bua.
Den Uska comes along, like ta miracle. She bring Bua back to life and ask Bua do a favor in return--ta take some armor, weapons, a ring, and some coin dat made Uska's pack too heavy.
De short of it be dis. Bua see Uska again a time or two after finally getting down to Fort Alta. Uska hear Bua's story and asks Bua fer another favor. Iffn Bua move in with Uska, den Uska no be lonely when she come home. So Bua move in with Uska, and Uska help Bua look fer Bua's real home and family.
Bua not find family dem yet but still's looking. After watching Uska, Bua decide dat healing be boring. Bua gots a bolt dat works real gud. Bua likes her bolt!
