Purpose:
Informational and making learning science fun and easy to understand.

Textual
- For visual learners
- Simple text. (Easy to understand even for lower ability students)
- covers the content of the topic well.
- Gives explanation with examples of everyday use. Pupils would be able to understand the topic and make connection to the simple machines they have been using all this while even without knowing that they are classified as machines.
-Covers on all the terms: lever, inclined plane, wheel and axle and pulley

Credibility
- by Todd Kranz, a graduate student at the University of Houston
- does not mention if the web sites is updated. But judging from the content I take it as since the web site teaches the basic concept of understanding, I don't feel that the web page should be updated very often, as facts don't change.

Audience
- meant for students wanting to understand the topic better
- teachers can refer to this to clear their doubts on the topic.
- Good for parents and tutors to understand the topic as well.
Basically the web page caters to very one young and old to the basic concepts of the topic on simple machine.
