Who are the MT Players?
Our Mission Statement
MT (Musical Theatre) Players is a University of Southern Maine (herein called USM) student group established through the Board of Student Organizations (herein called BSO). MTPlayers was established and organized by USM students.  The group is devoted to the education of students in the field of musical theatre on the USM campus.

Student education comes from the actual production procedure. This includes everything that would be included with any professional production. Students will gain knowledge in fields such as acting, singing, dancing, directing, conducting, choreography, costume design, carpentry, sewing, house management, publicity, etc.

MTPlayers' goal is to challenge USM students preparing them for the life of theatre after graduation. MTPlayers provides students with an outlet for their creativity and challenges their minds and bodies to work.  MTPlayers hopes to be a part of the growth and development of student talent of all those who participate in the process.
