| An ECOBRA made metal variant of the 1744. Just as the N1733 had a metal variant, so was there one for the contemporary late non log-log duplex rule. Some, like the log-log rules, have mint green slides. Not common rules. Rules themselves say copyright 1956. Sold as "improved style" rules, just as was the 1738M. |

| A very nice plastic fully adjustable pocket duplex slide rule, on a body virtually identical to that of the K+E 4168. This rule is essentially a plastic pocket 1744. Not uncommon, and many survive with boxes and instructions. Currently the only known Dietzgen non log-log pocket duplex rule ever sold. The Redirule name on the box/instructions was not hyphenated on these, but WAS on the 1771 pocket slide rule. |
