Civilian and Personal Life:
October 1997
Went to work for an oil drilling company(Noble Drilling) as an
Electronics Technician. Helped convert an older rig toa 4th generation rig capable of drilling to depths approaching 9000'.
"I am currently assigned to the 'Noble Paul Wolff', and we are working off the coast of Brazil under a long- term contract."
Personal life:
"Moved last summer from San Diego (where I retired at) to Rapid City, South Dakota. It's a lot slower paced here, doesn't cost as much, and the son is in a much smaller school. Still married after all these years (Feb 03 will be 25 years), and my daughter (who was born when I was on the 712), has already moved out of the house and lives in California".---Bryan Brummet---
In reading Bryan's bio, it becomes apparent that he has had a very satisfying Naval Career and a very happy civilian life. It is good to hear when a former shipmate is happy and has done so well
