The current MLSS has three layers. With in theis Layers are gaps. Theis gaps are what seperaters the different layers of energy that is required to create the three different layers of shielding. My staff and I have found a way to introduce a gas into the gap in between the second and third layers of our shields. This gas is made up of large consentrations of experimental Neutronium ions. When a polaron style weapon is fired large amounts of positive ions are intensely focused on a small part of our shields. This gas when reacting with the positive ions begins to come together to the form of a liquid, which we call Neutronium One Gel, or NOG. The gel begins to absorb ions creating more and more NOG. The gel becomes severly dense, this does not as of current studies have any negitive effect on the ship or its functions. When the gel becomes to dense it is broken down into Neutronium ions. Due to current Nano technology, Nano probes are release with the gas. Theis nano probes when reacting with the gel give it Phase Variance Capabilities or PVC, enabling it to remove the positive ions from the NOG in our shields. These PVC Nano probes are programed to break down the NOG once it reachs a critical density, this density is controled on the star ship by the Commander or an operations officero on dutie. These Nano probes can be replicated in mass quantities, and will exhaust with little or no resourceful efferet from the ship in which it is installed.
