Times have changed and the past has caught up. The federation has just acquired the ancient Stargate from is berth deep inside the long abandoned Cheyenne Mountain located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Earth. With the information obtained by a culture long forgotten (the Asguar), and that which was left behind by the original Stargate program, the Gate now travels the Galaxy in the USS Endeavor. Old and new races have come head to head and old enemies are resurrected.
