Personality:   Despite his background growing up in not quite the best part of town, Johnny knows the difference between right and wrong.  He is a lighthearted character with an infectious laugh and never holds a grudge.   He is very family oriented and takes all relationships whether it is friendship or more(currently single), seriously.  He is also a man of his word, if he says he'll do it,  it will get done.  He also likes to Juggle. Pysical_Traits:  Johnny has tanned skin, brown hair and brown eyes.  He is average height and average build. Background:  Johnny was born in Chicago Illinois on Earth.  His family was poor and he had to learn how to take care of himself.  He always had a knack for fixing things and inventing new ways to fix things or make life easier.  His parents, Tony and Maria were Italian and lived as such wanting to keep their culture.  His ancestors had always wanted to keep the blood pure, not for prejudice, but for history.  Growing up in the rough part of town, Johnny knew all the kids in the bad crowd but never got caught up in it.  When he was young, he had friends that would steal from local shops or hustle on the street corners.  As he got older it turned into more serious crimes with more serious penalties.  As he watched his friends go to jail or get killed in gang fights he decided he wanted to put his skills to good use, so he said goodbye to his family and left for San Francisco to join Starfleet.  His exceptional skills for creating things quickly became apparent as he even helped Starfleet staff with common problems from a squeeky drawer to improving the efficiency of his teacher's personal shuttles.     His first assignment was deputy chief engineer aboard the USS Monarch.  Things were pretty uneventful there until the Chief Engineer resigned giving him a promotion and the duties of Chief Engineer.      A short while later while conducting a transwarp experiment on the Monarch's warp core, Johnny was hit by a discharge from the warp core.  This opened a rift in space/time and sent him into an alternate universe.  He appeared 20 years in the future on the USS Kirk in a timeline where the federation no longer existed and the borg had taken over almost the entire alpha quadrant.  Now serving as chief engineer on the Kirk, he still continues to try to find a way home.
