seaQuest "Duty Uniform" Science Dept.      Science uniforms are worn by any civilian specialist aboard seaQuest. The uniform consists of a single blue jumpsuit with a white turtleneck shirt underneath. The jumpsuit appears to be a uniform of convience; it gives the science crew a look of being apart fo the seaQuest crew while still showing that they are not military officers.
One scientist aboard seaQuest doesn't wear the blue jumpsuit. While technically not a member of the science staff, Lucas Wolenczek, is quite respected in the field of computers, as it was he who created the "Vo-corder" program wich translated Darwin's click & whistles into human english. He is also responsible for getting the ship out of trouble many times. It should be noted that Lucas was only 16 yrs old during his first tour of duty aboard seaQuest DSV.
