Appearance & Personality Steve's appearance is somewhat small. He is 5' 7" tall, and weighs about 140 lbs. He has brown hair. He wears his hair long, but keeps it neatly slicked back. He has a mean temper and an insatiable appetite for action. If not flying a combat mission, he is normally found on a holodeck. He lives for flying. His other loves include tinkering with his ships design, and drinking whiskey. He has proven himself a capable leader, while taking his pilots as his own. He treats them as friends, but also as a father. He has lost very few under his leadership, but has taken their deaths as his own personal fault. He comes down on himself too hard, which causes him to challenge his limits. He maintains himself in good shape, mostly through Karate.
Personal History He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. His parents were Merlin & Carla. His father died when he was 6 years old. He barely remembers him. His mother died giving birth. He was raised mostly by his aunt Lynne. She pushed him to be the best in his class, while giving him the freedom he needed to live. He loved her even though she pushed him, but he knew it was for a good reason. When he was 17, he applied to the academy. They told him to come back in a year, so he did. Shortly after joining the academy he found he had a knack for flying fighters. No one is sure how he earned his nickname, but they figure it comes from the way he flies. He's quick to out distance his team, to get into the heat of battle, very much a loner.
