(29 yrs & 47 yrs old) 2342: T'Vek moves to a secluded portion of Mheissan overlooking the Korthre Cliffs. He is then enrolled in a private Romulan school designed to stimulate childrens learning capacity, aimed at creating a smarter, more cunning people. Several schools throughout the province support this. His mother does not approve. 2343: Displaying incredible learning skills at age 6, T'Vek is placed in 'Advanced Studies' with 4 other Romulan children. T'Vek's mother actively speaks out to his father, but she is beaten down. 2345: T'Vek moves on to hish school type studies. Again, his mother speaks out against it. She is beated down again and through the next year. T'Vek begins to dislike his father. 2346: T'Vek's father is killed in the line of duty during the Khitomer Massacre, in which the Enterprise-C severely damages Commander Jatal's Warbird. He was 56 years old. After the news returns home of her husbands death, Shiarrael grieves with her son. 2349: Shiarrael Tei Jatal defects to the planet Vulcan to start a new life with her 12 year old son T'Vek Nnerhin Jatal II. T'Vek is the enrolled into Vulcan schooling where he learns the arts of meditation and mind melding. Due to T'Veks superior learning ability, he is enrolled into a Vulcan high school. 2351: T'Vek graduates from high school and moves on to college type studies at ShirKahr Academy. 2354: T'Vek completes his college classes at the age of 15 and becomes the youngest student on Vulcan to do so. 2356: Shiarrael meets Spock at a planetary Vulcan Awareness conference in ShirKahr where they speak and build the foundation of the Underground Movement, in which Spock leads many of his Vulcan and Romulan followers into the hopes of reunification. 2360: T'Vek and his mother join Spock's Underground Movement. Together, they fight for a unified people. 2363: Shiarrael Tei Jatal moves to the Vulcan Embassy on Earth and meets Captain Jose Eduardo Alvarez, who was currently on shoreleave visiting family members. 2365: Shiarrael & Jose marry and T'Vek's full name becomes T'Vek Nnerhin Jatal Alvarez. Sister Adriana Shiarrael Alvarez is born. 2373: The Dominion War begins and T'Vek's stepfather is called into active service. He and his mother & sister stay on Earth. Adriana Alvarez enrolls in a public preschool. T'Vek applies to Starfleet Academy, but is denied entry due to citizenship issues. 2374: Captain Alvarez is captured by Dominion forces and is replaced with a Changeling. He is being held with other high ranking Starfleet personell in a location unknown. Adriana begins kindergarten. 2375: The Changeling of Captain Alvarez is discovered and the captain is presumed MIA. 2377: After an intense debate regarding their citizenship, it is decided that T'Vek and his mother are admitted as citizens of the Federation by marriage, and due to the loss of Captain Alvarez, T'vek is offered a position as a Starfleet Academy cadet, which he accepts. 2377: 40 year old T'Vek Jatal attends his first day at the Academy. He completes all his core studies above everybody's expectations and is granted special privelages, such as assisting with recruitment and transition into Starfleet, and Foreign Affairs. While enrolled, T'Vek meets several classmates with similar ideals to his. He decides to major in the Intelligence Department. Captain Alvarez is rescued from the Dominion after the war and is promoted to Admiral. 2379: T'vek completes his major in Intelligence and chooses anothe major, this time in the Command and Security Department. Later this year, Admiral Jose Eduardo Alvarez retires from Starfleet to be with his 14 year old daughter. 2380: Early in the year T'Vek meets Lavvik, a transfer student from the Academy on Vulcan. They become very good friends and T'Vek learns much more of Vulcan customs and rituals. He completes his minor in Com/Ops. 2381: Entrenched in study, T'Vek completes all his courses and is qualified for graduation the same year. 2381: Having completed all 4 years of the Academy and earning the credit thereof, Cadet T'Vek Nnerhin Jatal Alvarez graduates from Starfleet Academy and is promoted to Ensign. Ensign Jatal is transferred to Spacedock in orbit of Earth and awaits his transport to the USS Alliance-B. 2382: T'Vek Jatal is transferred to the USS Enterprise-E and promoted to Lieutenant JG to head the Intelligence Department aboard the Sovereign class vessel, currently stationed at Deep Space 7 near the Cardassian border in the Maelstrom. 2384: Near the middle of the year, Lt. JG Jatal is offered command of the newly refitted Prometheus class USS Tethys NCC-76503. He accepts and is transferred into Command Schooling at Starbase 212, the halfway point between the Zakdorn and Alpha Omega systems. The Tethys sits docked at Docking Port 4 inside the Starbase. |
