Captain Eric "Blade" Brooks

On July 10, 1973 Eric Brooks was born to Vanessa Brooks in New York City. Deacon Frost bitten Vanessa when she started going into labor with Eric. She later died from it. He was raised by his father, Robert until he was 12. Then he ran off on his own until he came across a man named Abraham Whistler. He joined Whistler at being a Vampire hunter and took on the alias "Blade". After Abraham died, Blade joined a Vampire Hunting cell along with Abraham's daughter Abigail Whistler and Hannibal King. They hunted together until Dracula (Drake) was defeated. Then Blade went solo. Abigail and Hannibal went to hunt supernatural creatures on their own as well.

In the late 23rd century, Starfleet Medical discovered a way to permanently suppress the thirst and preventing the Vampires from killing anymore. They started becoming part of society and members in Starfleet. Blade to eventually joined Starfleet as well in the early 24th century. In 2367, Captain Blade was believed to have been killed in 'Battle of Wolf 359' with his ship, USS Princeton. In 2385, the USS Blade, named after the 'Battle of Wolf 359' hero discovered that Blade was alive as a Borg drone on a cube. They rescued him and he recuperated on Earth while being debriefed and going through the standard court martial for when losing a ship. In 2386, Captain Blade was reinstated and given command of the USS Resurrection.
