General History:
Elayne grew up on Haven. A place where peace reigns and the people are renowned healers. Her parents were both healers and when she turned 15 she applied to the Academy. She would be the first of her race to do so. And it was a proud moment when she passed the exams and got her acceptance letter.
Elayne Lyonesse joined starfleet in 2338. She trained in medicine and security, hoping to give herself a second outlet. She graduated with flying colors in both courses in2342 and was assigned to the USS Enterprise C under Rachel Garret. As a medical officer on the USS Enterprise C, she had her work cut out for her. The Enter C had a ton of battles and their medical staff was often pushed to the limits. In 2344 the USS Enterprise C was destroyed in battle with the klingons. And no one survived.
Unbeknownst to her, Elayne had been spirited away at the moment the ship blew up by a superior being. She along with 5 other crew had been selected to take part in experiments.
Placed in stasis, the 6 crew of the Enterprise C, were taken to an alien world, far beyond the federation and known space. Once there they were submitted to numerous tests and experiments, none of which they remember..
In 2367, 6 stasis pods were discovered in orbit around a dead world in the delta quadrant by the USS Valley Forge. But only two were still active. Elayne?s and that of a young human girl. The captain of the USS Valley Forge, captain Nick Knight, brought the two pods into their cargo bay and after some debates revived the two people. A bio scan showed him and the crew that they had a member of the USS Enterprise C before them as well as an unknown child.
The young girl did not speak when questioned though she seemed to understand what was being said. The crew named the girl Yasmine. The doctors found a strange tattoo on her left ankle. Elayne was revived and an examination showed that she had the strange tattoo on her left ankle as well. But that was not the end of the changes. Elayne and the young girl both had the ability to move things with their minds. Yasmine also has the ability to manipulate water and when upset, is known to cause rain storms in the rooms.
Elayne?s abilities seemed to flow from her natural abilities of healing, but with her telekinesis and more advanced healing came a talent to see the future as well as a grave issue. It seemed that the time in stasis had caused massive cellular degeneration. She had to undergo numerous invasive surgeries before even being allowed out of medical. Yasmine seemed to have a connection to Elayne and wouldn?t let her out of her sight. Elayne could not explain it. Eventually it was discovered that Yasmine was the daughter of Elayne, though there was no medical evidence that Elayne had ever been pregnant let alone given birth.
Elayne and Yasmine settled onto the Valley Forge and are trying to get use to each other and their new environment.
