This is different than most of my other drawings in that this building really exists. In May of 2003. I went on a Catholic Youth Convention to New Bern, NC. This town of slightly larger population than Elizabeth City sported a brand-new convention center along their waterfront, probably built in the past year. This drawing was drawn from memory a few days after the convention. Most details are roughly to scale.
