The first incarnation of the Mighty Mart chain, a fictitious business empire that would be destined to overtake the world's current behemoth, is the humble MicroMart. Essentially a combination convenience store and gas station, MicroMarts would comprise the bulk of the chain during the first ten to twenty years of the company's existence. Once about two hundred or so stores are in operation, the company should have sufficient capital to increase its buying power and to construct a system of centralized warehouses in strategic locations across the country. Once that has occurred, the necessary intra-corporate infrastructure would be set in place to build a series of larger stores........
